Microsoft Teams will run natively on Cisco hardware

Cisco and Microsoft announced a new partnership that will give customers more opportunities. Cisco certified devices will work seamlessly with Microsoft Teams. The certification process should be completed by early 2023.

In the announcement, Cisco and Microsoft speak of six different meeting devices and three peripherals which Microsoft Teams will run natively on. Organizations even get the option to set Teams as the default solution.

A new era
The collaboration will provide all kinds of possibilities and opens doors to an easier way of hybrid work. With Cisco’s high-quality, reliable video technology, powerful camera intelligence and noise removal technologies, a new era of digital work will commence.

The first certified devices are expected by early 2023 and will include the Cisco Room Bar, The Cisco Board Pro 55-inch and 75-inch and the Cisco Room Kit Pro. The Cisco Desk Pro and Cisco Room Navigator will follow.
